William Ballance
Will envisioned Sorter while trying to scale his previous startup Alum, a platform for mobile alumni engagement and giving, in the EdTech space.

Previously he was an early sales hire at Springbot, a big data-driven marketing automation platform for online stores.

Prior to that he was employee #1 at a daily deal platform where he oversaw sales expansion from $30k to $2.5MM and market launches in Atlanta, New York, and San Francisco.

William Allred
Will joined Sorter full time the day after winning TechStars Startup Weekend 2018.

Previously, Will had been leading all digital initiatives and projects at TopRight Partners, a boutique strategic marketing firm.

Prior to TopRight, Will was an initial member of the Elective Provider Solutions team at Healthgrades where he helped design and implement a go to market strategy for a previously untapped market.

Elan Grossman
Data Scientist
Elan joined Sorter while a machine learning engineer and data scientist at Home Depot. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech.

Previously, he was an Interface Engineer and Data Analyst at Phillips.

Elan is published for his work on "Systematic hole-shifting of L-type nanocavity with an ultrahigh Q factor"

Carlie Ladinsky
Neuromarketing Researcher
Carlie is Vice President of the Neuroscience Club at Georgia Tech where she works under Dr. Karen Feigh in the Cognitive Engineering Lab.

There she utilizes a range of experimental methodologies and computational techniques to design cognitive work systems for decision-aid.

Carlie's specific interest in neuromarketing is helping us evaluate and generate relevant research.

Troy Osinoff
Troy is a co-founder of the JUICE digital marketing agency in New York City, working with brands like Paris Hilton, Kenneth Cole, and Cabin.

Previously Troy was Head of Customer Acquisition at Buzzfeed.

Jim Berryhill
Jim is the founder and CEO of DecisionLink, a value selling automation platform for enterprise teams.

Previously Jim was VP of Corporate Accounts at Hewlett-Packard, a top 1% employee while VP of Sales at Siebel (Oracle), and the only 3-time Worldwide Division of the Year recipient at CA Technologies.

Maria Joyner
Maria was a co-founder and VP of Marketing at, an e-mail marketing deliverability and compliance solution that was acquired by DataValidation. was a 500 Startups backed company, a Flashpoint GT Accelerator Graduate, and an ATDC Select Company.
